For as long as I can remember, I have loved books and I have played with paper. It only stands to reason that I would eventually combine the two.

Simple Joys Paperie branched off from my folk art business, Honeysuckle Lane in 2008. The tag line of Honeysuckle Lane is "simple joys of bygone days" and I consider my paper art a simple joy. Designing and making paper art was an outlet for the creative part of me that enjoyed a lighter, cottage, flea market, shabby chic style. Soon, most of my work involved paper and I decided to set Simple Joys Paperie apart from Honeysuckle Lane.
